Tree Climber Duties and Requirements:

Duties:

  • Tree Care Operations: Perform tree climbing and tree care tasks using appropriate equipment and techniques.
  • Maintenance and Health: Conduct tree pruning, removal, and trimming to ensure the health and aesthetics of trees.
  • Health Assessment: Assess tree health and identify any potential hazards.
  • Rigging and Lowering: Manage the rigging and lowering of branches or sections of trees as needed.
  • Cleanup: Ensure proper cleanup of the work area after completing tree care tasks.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience in tree climbing and care required.
  • Physical Stamina: Strong physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Office Associate Duties and Requirements:

Duties:

  • Inquiry Response: Assist in responding to customer inquiries via email, phone, or in-person, providing helpful and accurate information.
  • Work Order Creation: Generate work orders for estimators based on customer requests, ensuring details are accurate and complete.
  • Quote Follow-Up: Actively follow up on quotes sent to customers, addressing any questions and facilitating the decision-making process.
  • Job Scheduling: Coordinate the scheduling of approved jobs, liaising between customers and service teams to find suitable times.
  • Invoicing: Prepare and send invoices for completed jobs, ensuring they are accurate and sent in a timely manner.
  • Phone Management: Handle incoming calls, providing exceptional customer service, directing calls as necessary, and taking messages.

Requirements:

  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities to manage various administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, ensuring all work orders, quotes, and invoices are accurate and complete.
  • Customer Service: Experience in customer service, demonstrating the ability to resolve inquiries and issues effectively.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Jobber for CRM system) for creating documents, scheduling, and record-keeping.
  • Education: High school diploma required; further education or certifications in business administration or related fields preferred.

Ground Crew Duties and Requirements:

Duties:

  • Assist Climbers and Crane Operations: Provide direct support to tree climbers and crane operations, ensuring safety and efficiency.
  • Equipment Handling: Manage and prepare all necessary equipment and tools for tree care operations.
  • Debris Management: Collect, chip, and remove tree debris from the work site, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Traffic and Safety Control: Implement safety measures to protect the crew and the public near the work area, including directing traffic when necessary.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on tree care equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.

Requirements:

  • No Previous Experience Required: On-the-job training will be provided for those new to tree care work.
  • Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physical tasks and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Teamwork: Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Safety Awareness: Commitment to safety protocols to protect oneself, the team, and the public.
  • Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license is preferred but not required.
